After Stephanie died in a very tragic yet preventable way. With Alexandra Paul doing funny faces, to show her character was in pain. Writers needed to defuse the tension, and what better way to do it, than bringing a dog to the show? And one that was apparently Stef's reincarnation (?). I said season 7 was not very good. But that's not exactly what I meant. It's the shallowest season to date, in which episodes got very silly, to offset the aforementioned departure of one of the veteran characters. The day after her wedding ceremony... The acting (never show Hasselhoff in a dramatic scene again, please) got very « minimalist » there, and it pains me to notice Bleeth's glassy eyes, in this episode in particular. But it was fun nonetheless, and I loved the part with the dog, obviously.

Reincarnation of Stephanie, the places this show goes. Knew it as soon as the dog raced Caroline, like most "Twilight Zone" episodes where you get it in the first minute, but belabors that point for the rest of the episode and adds nothing more. K and?

Talk Show was very entertaining, with fun storylines.
Mitch becomes a hero, and famous. There are numerous rescues of high profile people.
Man's best friend is also a hero, and becomes a roommate to Caroline and CJ. Who doesn't love a dog story.
