Very Weird, but Very Cool!

Warning: Spoilers
If you could have all your favorite childhood myths come to your rescue at your darkest hour, that would be a good thing, right? Well, this is not the case for Stanley Marshall. He's having the worst day of his life and has decided to end it all. But wait. Not If Santa Claus, Peter Rabbit and Sabrina, the Tooth Fairy have anything to say about it.

In this strange but brilliant short, the three mythical heroes do their best to illuminate the joy of life through a walk down memories lane featuring Stanley's childhood. But his childhood is not so rosey as Santa would like Stanley to remember. Peter's tough love approach, coupled with his adolescent crush on the newly engaged Sabrina, leads to enough bickering to drive the sanest of people to slit their wrists.

The short is wickedly dark in its humor, then turns bittersweet and surreal. Solid performances were given throughout, with Peter (Eric Cazenave) being my personal favorite. It was a very original journey into a suicidal mind, where one small thread of subconscious hope manifested itself in a most unexpected and desperate way.
