Wow!

In my daily searches about film formats, specially 16mm, I found this great piece.

What made it so special? Well let me tell you that the whole thing was made with a Kodak camera from 1924, so it makes a great example that is not what you have but what you do you with it! As what it is the photography is so beautiful, and chaotic and shocking, it gets everything

Second, the music follows the action of this great and active city that even if you are sitting down it moves you.

Try to watch it, this great ! it will take you places!

This is probably one of my favorite new movies,

one word WOW!

Mesmorizing!

I initially stumbled on this film while flipping through the channels and stopping on PBS. What made me stop was the fact that I couldn't figure out what I was seeing...the images seemed old, yet the content was new...I was locked to the screen trying to interpret the story unfolding in front of me. The music was haunting, and matched the images perfectly...the emotion and mood was very clear, even without dialog. Living in NYC and seeing it from the vantage point of a 1924 camera made for an interesting intellectual experience...we are used to associating different film/video qualities with different time periods...and this production challenged what we are used to.

I would highly recommend this film and you should watch it a few times to catch the many details.
