Sex & Nudity

  • A woman wears a leather tube top which reveals her abdomen and some cleavage.
  • A computer animated form of a naked male is shown when the main character is downloading information about the planet he is on. Animated male full frontal nudity is seen.
  • No nudity. Two passionate kisses.

Violence & Gore

  • Rather a lot, including a gruesome decapitation. Lots of battle related scenes and some scenes of menace related to the alien creature.
  • Red "tentacles" of the Alien shoot through walls, ripping into people, and splattering bits of blood as the people get pulled out of view.
  • A couple people are stabbed in a fighting scene. Blood is shown when they are stabbed. A man is stabbed in the neck, blood sprays from the wound. It is graphic, and may be disturbing to many. A man's head is chopped off, and blood curls and sprays from where the head used to be.
  • A girl wakes up in a cave. There are bodies of dead people all around her. Most are missing body parts. It is rather graphic and may be frightening and disturbing for some. A skull, still with flesh on it is seen for a couple of seconds. The head has blood, and it has been clawed through. It is quite graphic, and may also be frightening/disturbing.
  • Possibly one of the most disturbing parts of the movie is where a man is captured by a smaller alien. The man is seen from a distance laying on dead bodies while the alien rips at his insides. The man moans and groans in pain, clearly not dead. This is seen from a distance, but it is bloody, and arguably one of the most graphic and disturbing parts of the movie.
  • The alien tries to kill a girl, who kicks it back. It drops saliva and blood from it's teeth on her, but is interrupted. She is then buried under a pile of dead bodies by the alien's tail.

Profanity

  • Another version contains no profanity.
  • The very first word the main character says in English is the F word.
  • Very little profanity, despite the violence level. One use of "Son of a B*tch" two uses of "d*mn" (one hardly audible) two uses of "h*ll" one use of "bast*rd" and one use of the "F" word.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Drinking scenes.
  • There is a big party that the villagers have, and many men get drunk.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man wakes up staring at the alien. It is a bit hard to see, but the alien is eating another person. Then the alien attacks the man. It is about 15 seconds long, but it is very frightening and disturbing.
  • The alien is seen ontop of a wall. A close-up of it opening it's jaws is seen. Saliva, and bits of blood on it's teeth is seen.
  • The alien is rather frightening overall. You see a lot of it.
  • There is long period of time (15 minutes or so) where they are in a cave. There are lots of dead bodies in this cave (fair amount of blood is seen on some.) This may be frightening to some.
  • The alien catches fire in one scene and is rather frightening.
  • The last 20 minutes or so of the movie is very intense and frightening.
  • Overall, the movie is very violent in spots, there is a lot of blood and there are a couple of very intense and frightening scenes.
