Mrs Slocombe is busy dropping hints about her upcoming birthday, Miss Brahms calculates that she must be fifty, a scramble to reduce the amount going into the kitty begins.

It is a definite classic, very funny. Mollie would have been 54 here, but there was always an assumption made that she was older. They all shine in this one, Nicholas Smith as always so multi talented.

It has all of the classic elements, the funny and crazy display units, the funny customer scenario and of course the side story, this time being Mrs Slocombe's birthday.

Series four has been another classic run, and this is so funny, the cake was hilarious, and we were left wondering what was in the box.

Classic comedy. 9/10

It takes a while to warm up, but once it does this is another fine episode of the show.

I thought the scene where they were practicing singing 'Happy Birthday' was great fun, as was the bit of direct address at the end.

Good fun overall.
