There's no rule a show has to acknowledge its 100th episode.
But, the show was clearly aware of it (via Linda's winning of $100 and the title being The 100th), and it came up with this poor episode.
A 100th episode should be a celebration. Reminding the viewers of what it is, or bringing story threads together. There was none of that here.
Instead we were treated to some poor comedy tropes that haven't aged well, including gay fear and toxic masculinity.
Becker's chasing after Chris against her wishes is creepy, and it hurts his character. He is coming of as an entitled predator, and he needs to back off.
