Burnside is annoyed when a case falls apart after a young woman, who had previously accused an ex partner of rape, drops the case.
It's a bit of a mixed bag this one, it should be a powerful story, but sadly I didn't find Burnside's victim a particularly believable character. Some of the acting was a little questionable.
I'm not a fan of Meadows here either, another inspection at Sun Hill, and another nitpicker, he would become a fan favourite, but in these early years be was an unpleasant pest. Best thing about this episode as is so often the case, Burnside. It makes a change to see the ever perfect Kim Reid put under some pressure and retaliating.
It makes me chuckle how hideous that furniture in the store was, clearly 1991 was a time for hideous floral patterns.
Not bad, 6/10.
