DS Greig is frustrated whilst at Chambers when a case of arson he's prosecuting, takes a strange twist. Meanwhile WPC Ford arrests a shoplifter at The Co-op who's taken a pork chop.
It's another interesting episode, that shows the diversity of the show, the two stories are very worlds apart, but both interesting.
You feel for Alistair, who's caught up in all manner of legalities, his frustrations seem justified.
Two great guest performances here, this show really did know how to get people signed up, DS Greig is frustrated whilst at Chambers when a case of arson he's prosecuting, takes a strange twist. Meanwhile WPC Ford arrests a shoplifter at The Co-op who's taken a pork chop.

Two great guest performances here, John Mulder Brown is perfectly cast, and uses that incredible voice to full advantage, he first the part well. Plus we get the eternally wonderful Louise Jameson, who plays the excellent Irene, first of all, check out that makeup, very much of the time, she's so good in this.
It is nice that WPC Ford has more of a lead role here, she's so often just a bit player, she's very good here, deserved more meaty parts.
Loved it, 9/10.
