Where's the money?
mitchrmp19 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This entire episode focuses on one question: where's the money? And it amazes me that after all this time the Marshal still things Clay would be so dishonest as to take the money for himself! Furthermore, it's even more amazing that the author laughed when confronted with the truth.

Dallas, the outlaws girlfriend, is another interesting character. She is a interesting mixture of southern belle and outlaw's girl. She tries to seduce Clay, and when she sticks some of the money in her shirt, she and Clay go behind a tree. He comes back with the hidden money. Some things they just couldn't show on television back then - that's obviously why they went behind the tree...

There is a dramatized fight scene that must be done by wide-screen to make it look more dramatic. It always annoys me to see a man flying across the screen...

In all, three men died in this episode. One was arrested.

The Indian Tree

It is time for Leeds Bradford to say his prayers. He is due to be hanged for armed robbery and murder.

Marshall Scott wants to know who were his partners in the crime and where he hid the money. $30,000 is missing.

Before he does hang, Leeds Bradford wants to talk to his lawyer. Only everyone thinks including the sheriff that Bradford told Clay Culhane where the money is hidden. Life is not going to be easy for Clay Culhane from now on.

Bradford was hoping his girlfriend Dallas Carver would be here. He wrote a letter to her and it contains a clue as to where the money is hidden.

Once again the marshall distrusts Clay Culhane, following as he is sure Clay will find the money. Dallas Carver is an interesting southern belle, adamant that she wants to keep the money if found.

Just a shame that the marshall was too willing to trust the wrong person.
