Yo, ho, ho. It's a real pirate's treasure

Warning: Spoilers
It's the Bayou County Fair and the circus is there. Corky is giving Bimbo a bath when he finds an old pirate pistol. Joey and Big Tim tell Corky that lots of the old pirates buried treasure is the Louisiana swamps. Corky meets a local barker who is selling baby alligators as souvenirs. Jean is a Cajun who lives in a cabin in the swamps and he welcomes Corky's invitation to see the circus.

After the performance, Jean is having coffee with Corky and Joey; Jean invites Corky to come with him tomorrow into the swamp. Next day a fellow Cajun offers to work with Jean, but he refuses because Cass is a poacher. In the swamp cabin, Jean tells Corky about Lafitte and how his great grandfather was a buccaneer. He shows Corky a pirate flag and a document his grandfather left him, but he can't read it because he can't read. Uncle Joey can read it because Uncle Joey knows French. They will go back the next morning. That night, Jean spins yarns about his great grandfather and soon Corky drifts off to sleep dreaming about pirates.

Joey comes to fetch Corky and reads the document. Joey says the document tells how to find a treasure buried at shark tooth point. But as Joey reads no one realizes that Cass is listening outside of a window. Cass takes off to get there first and he plans on stealing the treasure. Joey, Jean and Corky take off by skiff. Uncle Joey has to read out the landmarks as they go.

Back at the circus, Pete wants to go looking for Joey and Corky. He has been told Cass Larkin can't be trusted. Big Tim decides he is going along too.

At shark tooth point, Joey follows the map and when they start to dig they find a sea chest under a rock. But Cass takes the chest, and when Corky chases him he falls into a bayou and Jean has to save him from an alligator. Pete stops Cass and Jean has his chest, and it contains 100 Gold Coins. More than enough money for Jean to go to school.
