"Go Tell the Birds and the Bees" is like the previous episode in that it revisits material from earlier episodes. In this case, Rob lectures Ritchie about sex education a few seasons ago. Now, oddly, it's all about sex education again...which is a bit repetitive and confusing.
Laura has received a phone call from the school. It seems Ritchie has been lecturing his fellow students about sex...and he's been getting it all wrong. Again, this is odd as Rob talked to Ritchie about this in the episode "Where Did I Come From?". So, Rob has the sex talk again. Surprisingly, the next day, the school calls because Ritchie is still giving sex talks...with all the facts wrong. The school assumes Rob is a prude and didn't explain sex properly to Ritchie. So what is really going on here?
Both this and "Viva Petrie" make it seem as if the show is running low on ideas. In both cases, they revisited stuff from not especially memorable episodes and it just seemed unnecessary. Interesting...but unnecessary.
