Frasier is fed up with all the attention Niles has been getting from the press during the Maris debacle. Frasier has been nominated for a Sea Bee award and is the host this year. It is an opportunity to get some of the attention back to him. The events at the award show, which is in the morning because of Kenny's goof up, are wonderful. Roz's sister is there and she is a piece of work. Very good.

Then under delivers.
It was fine...and there were hi jinks...but just fails to measure up to the high bar that Frasier is capable and has achieved previously.
Again...a fine episode, but nothing that memorable to reminisce about.

The irony is that if this episode had been a part of Series eight to ten it would have been one of the best outings.
As it is it appears as part of a much, much stronger Series eleven, so perhaps doesn't look as good or as flashy.
This is a weaker episode, but still has lots of good laughs and moments. It does feel like we've seen aspects of this before though.
The Maris aspect is running a bit thin though, and is grating, so I do hope they knock it on the head soon.
Overall though, another good episode from Series eleven, that only pails in comparison because the standard has been so high elsewhere.
