This episode focuses on the events leading to Martin's encounter with the gunman who disabled him. It also shows the foundations of the strained relationships we see in every episode. A battle ensues between the boys over tickets to two separate shows on the same day.

Warning: Spoilers
In the eighth series of 'Frasier' you couldn't buy a good episode it seemed. Episode after episode seemed to meander along, going nowhere, and supplying on a modicum of rather easy jokes.

Thankfully this ninth year seems to be finding the show on better form, and this episode is another fine example.

I can't believe they haven't touched on the day Martin got shot before, but it's all very well played out here, and even the other storyline, which on paper should be thin, manages to entertain too.

It's good to see a show that's as good as 'Frasier' regaining a bit of form. I don't think it's back to the glory days of the first seven years, but it is still providing some nice moments recently.
