Show me the clown!
mitchrmp15 April 2014
Michelle is turning three years old and she is very excited about the circus party her family has planned for her. But before the party, Jessie takes her and Stephanie with him to fix Danny's car. But never did he expect to have to throw a party and become a clown!

They are locked in a garage until the manager gets back, so Jessie has to do something he HATES - become a clown! He and Stephanie have to help a crying, sad Michelle by entertaining her. Meanwhile, at home Danny and Joey are putting on a circus for the neighborhood without Michelle!

This is another one of those great episodes and this isn't the only time Michelle's birthday gets wrecked by other events.

The One With The Birthday Party In A Odd Spot...
taylorkingston9 June 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoy this episode. I feel bad for Michelle that her party was ruined but I really admire Jesse trying to fix it.

In this episode, Michelle is getting all prepared and excited for her third birthday, which includes a circus party with all of her friends. But on the day of the party, she and Stephanie are taken to a gas station by Jesse, where they accidentally get locked in. Jesse tries to fix Michelle's birthday by dressing himself and Stephanie up as clowns and trying to give her the circus party she was waiting for.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Awesome.

Alright, I Guess.
Movie-ManDan27 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The previous episode is the best of the season and one of my favourites in the show. The next one is not very good when seeing it right after, it really pales in comparison. After seeing this numerous times without anything infront of it, most of my complaints are reassured.

Michelle is turning 3. The family is throwing her a huge circus-themed birthday party full of clowns. To get as little responsibility as he can, Jesse takes Danny's car to the garage with Stephanie and the birthday girl joining him. Unfortunately, they get locked in! While the rest of the family is throwing Michelle's party for the neighbours, Jesse tries to make the best of it all.

The main idea of the episode is to make the best of a bad situation. Michelle may have been stuck in an auto garage, but she loved what happened. I wish the same could have been said about the audience. Usually I feel what the characters feel in the episodes. That is a good sign. I have never felt any sense of magic like Michelle supposedly did. I felt so bad that she missed her party at the house with the pros. I also felt angry that the idiotic mechanic was so idiotic! No chance in real life he wouldn't have checked to see if the place was empty. The three are trapped for a couple of hours before the shnook comes back. Why return? It was never said why. The last few minutes is a cheesy family end. I would have filed a police report or something against the mechanic.

6.5/10 Looks like I'm the only one not all that impressed.

Unnatural to ride elephants!
Shiryu0520 January 2019
Full House generally has good values sewn into each episode. I was utterly disappointed by Joey bringing an elephant home for the birthday party.

We take it for granted that these amazing, majestic creatures can be used and abused for our entertainment. Circuses and aquariums are some of the worst places harbouring innocent animals abused on a daily basis, but parents think they're doing kids a favour by taking them to see shows. This not only perpetuates a vicious cycle, but creates ignorant kids who see animals as nothing more than play toys.

The next time you hear about someone's elephant ride, local or on vacation, google phajaan. The animals are abused beyond recognition - that will never be okay for any true animal lover.
