Long Day's Journey Into Marinara (#2.19)

Warning: Spoilers
Angela comes for a visit and they decide that it is best for her to move to Miami to be closer with Sophia. Dorothy suggests her to stay with them which doesn't make Sophia happy because she thinks Angela wants to take everything away from her. This especially happens when Angela's new roommate turns out to be Sophia's boyfriend.

A great episode. I loved the chicken story. I was sad to think that the chicken got killed but luckily we got a happy ending (not that I think that the chicken from the freezer wasn't killed...). And it brought us some funny moments. Especially when Rose was trying to teach another chicken to play piano by using her nose.

And Angela and Sophia together is always a blast. Them beating up the cheating guy with their purses was a great scene. Hope we see more of Angela now that she moved to Miami.

Angela's back! Great episode.

Sophia is put out when Angela turns up and decides to move to Miami, with nowhere to go whe has to stay. Rose looks after a prized chicken.

It is loaded with funny moments, there are some outrageously funny moments, Rose and the keyboard was perhaps the best of them. It's one of those that's a little out of left field, it's bonkers, it's zany, but it is very, very funny.

I had a feeling it wouldn't be long before Nancy Walker returned as Angela, she lotted in to the quartet perfectly, she was just right, if only she had appeared more often, she was perfect.

The banter between Angela and Sophia was hilarious, the cutting one liners are side splitting.

Loved it, 9/10.

Aunt Angela's back and there's going to be a lot of laughs!

Warning: Spoilers
Rose takes care of Count Bessie, a musical chicken, who somehow disappears causing Rose to believe that visiting Aunt Angela (Nancy Walker) has plucked it, killed it and fried it. So even before they can give her a roast at the friar's club, Count Bessie (the only misgendered bird on TV), Rose is accusing Angela of murder making the feisty woman suspect that Rose isn't dealing with a full set of bachi balls. Then there's the plot of Angela moving in with sister Sophia's boyfriend and continuing the rivalry set up in Angela's first episode earlier in the same season. The dialog here is at its best, especially when Rose presents the group with desert, a typical Scandinavian Viking concoctions. The show gives the impression that Angela was moving to Miami, but unfortunately she is never mentioned again, even when brother Angelo moves to Miami.
