It's quite bizarre that rose, Blanche and Sophia have to share a bed, as do Roland and Chuy because the hotel is sold out because of a lawyer's convention. Chuy needs help in the kitchen, and Blanche hires his old friend (Gregory Sierra) who had an affair with Chuy's ex-wife. The hotel is in trouble because Rose accidentally covered the pool with guests inside. Silly situations take over the usual verbal banter that was at least funny, and even Rose's St. Olaf monkey trial story falls flat. The dialog consists of gay references that also don't land, making them eye rolling attempts at humor that aren't offensive, just lame. Other than the conflict set up between Cheech Marin and Gregory Sierra, this episode is pretty pointless.
