Laughs abound as Vince thwarts a crook in a diner with a judo move. He can't let Bunny find out. So he insists Gomer take the credit. Gomer shows the skill of a politician talking about it to others without actually saying he performed the heroic deed. I'm not a fan of martial arts. I prefer Christianity. Still it's represented too, via a Chaplain. Ted Knight in a preview of Mary Tyler Moore Show plays a news man. This character isn't as cheesy as Ted Baxter. Thank Goodness. The lengths Gomer goes to please Carter. He's a true friend and a loyal soldier. Even blackmail is hinted at in this bizarre comedy.
