Richie gets his drink spiked with who-knows-what sort of drug at a frat party. The presumed drug's effect begins almost immediately !
Plain old,mild Richie Cunningham turns into a rude,raving maniac at the party,Richie ends-up insulting everyone there with a ton of manic energy! He rides Fonzie's motorcycle late at night while wearing a swim-mask and snorkel and finally Richie rides the motorcycle right into the Cunningham living room- in other words it is like a Jekyll/Hyde type change! The mild-mannered and quiet Richie Cunningham is suddenly turned into a loud,rude,abrasive blowhard and it is indeed pretty funny! It is a well-done later episode for sure.
I want to acknowledge what the other,previous reviewer said,ie. Whoever spiked Richie's drink was totally in the wrong,and I myself want to say that the drink-spiker should be pummelled on sight as that is indeed a really rotten thing to do. After the pummelling, the drink-spiker should be arrested and given a little shock-time/lock time and then be let-out of jail and watched closely for a year or two. Secretly spiking drinks with anything pretty-much IS universally viewed as a wrong and deserving of severe punishment. Everyone,everywhere knows that this is wrong,(for a million reasons),and nobody wants their own sister's drink to be spiked at a bar,(for example) right? Of course not!
