The investigations continue. Loren Singer assists, digging away whilst she continued brown-nosing to the Admiral (ultimately getting the Police to release his truck, but not before it's been used in a police narcotics sting that went wrong!)
Harm continued to support Bud - and Harriet makes an unscheduled appearance; these two need to get to grips with their grief over the loss of Baby Sarah.
The CIA looms large, both in the background and - ultimately - in the courtroom hearings. Bobbi Latham pops in from the Senate (surely she and Harm had some chances together?).
Eventually, light is shone upon a murky slice of American history. Tom Boone is acquitted but has had enough of the Washington mudslinging and decides to cash in his pension. The sense is that another good officer has been driven out by America's national hand-wringing over the shadows of Vietnam.
Well-written, well-directed and well-acted; a very useful two-parter early in Season six.
