When a young woman claims to be Louise's daughter, many questions are raised, except a very obvious one. Did Louise ever have a child other than Lionel? If Lionel was her only child, she could have simply stated that. The ambiguity on that situation only gives creedence to George's suspicion. Trivia note: Diane Sommerfield previously appeared on All in the Family, as Lionel's girlfriend. Of course, Lionel was still Mike Evans at that time. Diane is good as Gayle Bryant, but the whole premise of the story is kind of silly. Louise would had to have remembered having an "extra" child. George went crazy, but never asked her this simple question.
