This Kojak episode finds Ava Gardner like movie star played by Antoinette Bower
returning to the USA after some years in the French Riviera. She is as always
pursued by professional paparazzi Tige Andrews.
She's reputed to have a vast jewel collection so when it looks like she's being kidnapped for said jewels that brings Kojak into the picture.
As it turns out Bower and Andrews have a strange symbiotic relationship. His harassing her taking pictures are what keeps her in the public eye despite her threats to publicly sue him for invasion of privacy.z
But her jewels are robbed and she's critically wounded by a masked gunman.
This one ends as a bittersweet tragedy and a great ensemble effort by the whole cast.
