It's not even Christmas and Laverne has an "It's a Wonderful Life" dream. I agree completely with the other reviewer here. It's weird that Laverne would wish she were never born just because she broke her leg.
And the whole dream was done really badly. It seems at this point in the show the writers were running out of fresh ideas and perhaps it was time to pull the plug on the series by this point.
