Eddie Haskell makes his second season debut, coming over to the Cleaver house and announcing to June he has a girlfriend....and that his parents say "she must have some money." June isn't impressed and sends him upstairs to see Wally. Eddie then brags that she's some private-school girl, high society and all that, and then asks Wally if he wants to go over to her house with him. He says okay, but when they get there it's obvious the girl doesn't know him, that this is Eddie's make-believe girlfriend. It's a short and awkward stay at the girl's house and she is impressed with Wally, of course, not Eddie.
Later, she calls up Wally and then has her mother call up the Cleavers, all trying to get Wally to take her to the dance. June makes the arrangement, which infuriates Wally, and justifiably so.
It winds up to be an interesting story and - surprise - Eddie actually turns out to be a good guy in the end, something that didn't happen much in future episodes. He even confides in Beaver.
