Walter Burke guest stars as the gentleman named Tinker, whom Mad Jack(Denver Pyle) had mistaken for a real leprechaun(!) after hearing him talk to his horse about gold, making Jack think that he would also get his wish at the end of the rainbow, though was properly corrected on this matter by Tinker. Meanwhile, the man's son meets up with James "Grizzly" Adams(Dan Haggerty) and Nakoma(Don Shanks) who agree to take him to his father, who only wants to help his family move west, as they are quite poor, and can't believe what Jack has been up to... Lesser episode is still appealing, with a good performance by Burke overcoming the potential silliness of the story.
