This is what I do in the morning. I watch The Love Boat before I go to work in the factory. I don't know. It keeps me sane. Shelley Hack is a real smart cookie. She literally bumps into simple hirsute Kevin Tighe. Julie tells her to dumb it down to land a man. (Farrah never had this problem.) Vicki finds another kid. (This is becoming a disturbing habit.) They wander into a cellar. (The cellar of a cruise ship?????) There they befriend a Mexican stowaway. 'My father's the captain. I can't hide a stowaway!' Vicki cries. Fortunately, she changes her mind. Then they all make a blood pact. Young Keith might just be going to the hoosegow. What an adventure! James Gregory, from Barney Miller, is super protective of his wife. Gregory is perfect casting. The wife is played by Jayne Meadows. Doc tries to rub lotion on her. Gregory shoots at him! Stay away, Doc! 'I ought to belt you in the chops!' he tells Gopher. (There's one fewer Meadows than Hudson. I'll still take the Meadows.) The Love Boat is still in its disco phase. We're still waiting for the Village People to come aboard. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 3 * out of a possible 4 *.
