So special

Warning: Spoilers
This is so special to see Janet and Lew together.they had made two films together in the early thirties- "State Fair" and "Servants Entrance". I believe the photo was from State Fair that they show of their wedding picture.

Knowing that this was her final acting performance makes it all the more sweet. Their final waltz together you can see the affection between the two of them was still strong.

Warning: Spoilers
'Quite a boat load of beauties!' It's 1981! Holy cow, it's Lew Ayres, some fifty years after All Quiet on the Western Front. They're on a fixed budget. They've cut corners for decades. His wife has a secret. Alex Cord is here with wife Jessica Walter. Alex has got a roving eye. Doc takes pity on her. Sal Viscuso is back. He convinces Lynda Goodfriend that he needs to room with her - in the interest of national security. He's really eavesdropping on Stephen Shortridge. We learn that closets on the Pacific Princess can comfortably accommodate two people. Julie started strong, but her parts were reduced. Gopher was fun but got too serious. Isaac is great, but typically a comedy player. Captain Stubing is the stern voice of authority. It's really Doc that makes the show. Bernie Kopell is able to effortlessly transition from comedy to pathos. On another matter, thank God for the thin fabric of FILA shirts. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode gets 3 1/2 * out of a possible 4 *.
