A sergeant is about to be drummed out of the service after fifteen years because of his weight. He needs to lose thirty pounds so Hawkeye and B. J. set up a training program for him. Meanwhile, Potter becomes aware that his whole camp is pretty much in deplorable shape. He sets up a series of "Olympic" events (the 1952 Olympics are going on at the time). Our heroes are the captains and make a bet with one another as to which team will win. Klinger, having heard that one can get kicked out of the army for being overweight, begins to eat huge amounts of salami. Donald Penobscott, Mr. Houlihan, shows up and throws some oil on the fire. Anyway, it is a fun episode, giving a kind of sense of fun to the 4077.
