Interesting with back stories

I typically don't like this time of story told via dreams, but this might be an exception. It's got some good laughs and reading the backstory of Traci Lords is somewhat interesting especially since this was one of her first jobs after porn. Even more funny considering she plays a mail order bride.

Back To The Old West

I don't know how females are these days but back in the 1980s all they talked about was commitment. Finding himself trapped by three women laughing at "men" and commitment, MacGyver does the smart thing and runs off. Going to sleep he dreams he's back in the old west protecting a few mail-order brides.

Just like the episodes based on medieval themes (especially the risible Holy Grail episodes) all MacGyver's history is bunk. But it is a dream sequence.

One thing they got right is that they make the Old West look cold. Most history is cold and not until modern times did people have enough to eat.

Dana Elcar gets to play a fellow in a traveling medicine show. Otherwise, nothing special about this episode. It's a good thing these writers didn't do "Gunsmoke" or "Bonanza." However well they do physics or chemistry, they aren't qualified in

Plagiarism has always been a hallmark of this show. This time they swipe one of the best scenes from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly." With a twist.
