Herman is reading a detective magazine and sees an ad for a reward on Grandpa's head.
A very funny episode with some good scenes for Al Lewis. Herman wants to cash in on the reward, but hesitates when Lily intervenes. Eddie mails the letter by mistake. It turns out that a woman in Sioux City says Grandpa is her long lost husband. She is well played by former child star Jane Withers. Grandpa denies knowing her but changes his mind when he finds out she is rich. He decides to leave home and be with his wealthy wife but finds out it is all a scam. The funniest scenes are when Grandpa begs to come home literally on his knees. Herman will not let him in even when Grandpa makes it snow!
