Whatever It Takes
Hitchcoc7 September 2021
I have said before that Andy's tactics are beyond reproach. I guess the end always justifies the means. But the scene in the strip club really is more like gestapo than police. But I guess that's the angle the producers want. Sorenson has disappeared and left no forwarding address. The dancer he was hooked up with has been murdered and left in his apartment. The FBI seems to be getting in the way for Andy, so anything goes. There is a second plot where heavy handedness works, but more appropriately.

Police Act Like Mafia

Warning: Spoilers
I was shocked that this episodes shows the police constantly beating on people to get what they want. The most amazing was Sipowicz putting a man's head under water and then letting him up and then pushing his head down again. This is how the Mafia drowns people as the person tries to breath when they are let up and they are pushed under the water so that they suck water into their lungs and drown. But this was considered fine by the police as Sipowicz's partner just watches with a silly grin on her face. This was a disgusting episode.
