So Maxwell turned down "Cats" around the same time that Fran turned down a date with neighbor Steven Spielberg who apparently according to this in the early 80's had not become a success in Hollywood. It's a minor gripe but one that is obviously wrong. The story surrounds friends trying to assist Maggie in her love life, and getting into trouble with Maxwell, forced to send her to a convent for the Christmas holiday. Instead, Fran arranges for Maggie to go on a Kibbutz in Israel which stirs up memories of when Fran went on hers.
There's a very funny exchange between Maxwell, Niles and C.C. over Nile's finances, resulting in some really good insults between arch rivals Niles and C.C. the episode is very funny in showing what all of the major older characters would have look like in the early 1980's, withcGrandma Yetta very funny looking with Sylvia's hair style and Sylvia still large yet unforgettable as a brunette with frosted blonde hair highlights. As amusing as this is, it seems to be going in far too many directions and not really ending up with a point.
