I've always held this series near to my heart. This episode has it all. First of all, the return of Bob, the flying man, who loves Marilyn but she can't reciprocate. He returns with several performers, a giant hand, a slinky, and some guys made up of paper rolls. The invade town and are immediately accepted. Maggie Continues to interact with the guy in the bubble as they reach a kind of inner peace. Ed finds a ring in a fish he is eating and believes it is the lost ring of Federico Fellini. This leads to the kind of surreal nuttiness one would expect. This show was so successful and yet so off the wall, how in the 1990's did they get away with these sorts of stories. They were so cerebral.
