Though he made his first Columbo movie more than a year previous, Peter Falk didn't start the series until a couple of years later so he doesn't parody his most famous character on his initial guest stint on "Laugh-In". He does play Tonto in a series of skits with Dan Rowan as The Lone Ranger. Seeing a white man play a Native American would be politically incorrect today as it definitely is seeing Henry Gibson and Arte Johnson playing Koreans in another sketch concerning the Pueblo incident. Goldie Hawn does some leftover sketches with Marcel Marceau in which the latter does silent impersonations of famous movie stars though she keeps saying "John Wayne!" when he does Harpo Marx, Stan Laurel, and Charlie Chaplin but when he does The Duke, she then says "Henny Youngman!" Other previous skits from previous eps of "Laugh-In" gets repeated with new endings. Overall, this was an okay ep of the show.
