There is some knockabout comedy and a lot of treachery in this story that has a lot of oirishness.
An angry Queen Elizabeth wants Francis Drake to capture Irish rebel, The Earl of Tyrone, Lord O'Neill. A traitor who wants Ireland for himself.
Drake gets troublesome Irish pirate Grace O'Malley as a guest in his ship. Lord O'Neill is trying to pacify her two sons to get their support.
Drake decides to use her as a lure for O'Neill. However O'Malley's sons are no fans of the English. The two half brothers also dislike each other as well.
The cunning O'Malley escapes causing Drake a headache.
An episode with a bit more on the humour and a spirited performance from Elspeth March as Grace O'Malley.
