The group lands on a world consumed by tabloid gossip while ignoring America's war with the Swiss. Maggie becomes embroiled in a completely fabricated scandal involving the President of the United States. The only real journalism is through independent rags that no one reads. The president and Maggie's tryst is reminiscent of the Bill & Monica scandal of the 1990s. This president even mimics some of Clinton's mannerisms. This was actually a pretty good "ripped from the headlines" episode. The ending was fitting for this particular world.
