Episode 29
kevinolzak25 April 2010
Episode 29 begins with Jessica discussing how Corinne's wedding couldn't have been nicer("it's just a shame Bob got so drunk and hit Chuck!") Tim proves to a nervous bridegroom on their wedding night, and when the champagne is delivered by Orville(J.Pat O'Malley),a former parishioner who hasn't seen his priest lately because of work,he is chastised for making Orville give up the twins! And just when Corinne gets Tim in the mood,he gets a surprise call from his vengeful mother, who inquires if the bride is there!(and claims to be suffering an "attack").Mary confesses to Burt that she wants to go to college and study English because she has no life.Danny confesses to Burt that Elaine's extravagant tastes are costing him a fortune, and they concoct a plan to "kill her with kindness." Chester celebrates his birthday in the basement, and The Major offers him the companionship of his gallant doberman Sigmund,to replace Arnold, the dead rat that Benson flushed down the toilet.Unfortunately, the dog is stiff and stuffed, bothered not by fleas but by moths(Robert Guillaume laughs throughout this scene). When Chester collapses from one of his numerous blackouts, the Tates plant him at the front door, ready for the ambulance.

Side splitting.

Corrine and Tim go on their honeymoon, but his vengeful mother does her best to ruin their time. Mary decided it's time to go back to school, and Danny is struggling with married life.

Series two is proving to be just as funny as the first, this was a great episode, truly laugh out loud funny from start to finish.

Sigmund, I actually spat my wine out, I laughed so much, painfully funny moment.

More rooftop hilarities with Burt and Danny, those scenes are always so funny. That's a health and safety nightmare right there, forty stories up.

Seeing Chester living his best life in the basement is so funny, his rat and turtle friends, hilarious.

9/10.
