More bleak developments. The artificial heart saga continues as the less than happy recipient realizes more and more what a burden it is. This was before even a streamlined version was cumbersome. The AIDS patient feels he must go the course alone. And Auschlander gains some spring in his step as he forsakes the chemotherapy and faces the future without it.
