Revenge Is Sweet

I am watching this episode now on Grit TV. An ex-convict named Squire and his hired killer companion stalk Hardie as payback for catching him and making him spend ten years in prison. Squire doesn't want to just kill Hardie, he wants to make him sweat and then kill him slowly. The episode loses steam while we wait for Squire to finally make his move. This might have worked better as a 30 minute episode. There is a good horse fight between a black stallion and a white stallion, but overall this isn't one of the better episodes.

Phillip Carrey plays Squire and Claude Akins the henchman. Jack Ging is once again on hand as Hardee's sidekick, Beau. And Beau turns out to be pretty handy to have around.

real bad men

Philip carey and claude akins make great bad guys ... that's why they got so many roles doing it ... i am really tired of seeing these guys week after week as guests stars on some western program ... every move is telegraphed in advance so a 5 year old child couldn't miss it ... makes one wonder about the audience target
