A recently-divorced Uncle Skip returns for a visit, and when the engine in his plane dies, he, David and Michael are forced to jump out; Sandy fills in on Mrs. Poole's bowling team.
This is a good episode -- better than than Season 2 finale when Skip showed up with a new wife. He is his usual chauvinistic self, but this is the first time he meets Sandy, so it's fun to see her reaction. Mrs. Poole, however, is easily charmed.
Michael is furious when he finds out Skip took them up in a faulty plane and Josh Taylor plays the scene well. It switches from drama to comedy seamlessly in a heartbeat.
A standout episode for Season 3.
