This Voyager story has Bogg and Jeffrey land in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey where Joe Louis played by Sam Scarber is training for his title defense against
the only man whoever beat him, Max Schmeling. Handling him are John Hancock
and Roger Robinson playing if not by name the equivalent of his manager John
Roxborough and trainer Chappie Blackburn.
Louis is having a confidence problem which the guys try to remedy. Try a couple of things that is.
The other story involves them Omniing on to an airliner about to be hijacked. When it goes down everyone is knocked out the way they were in Airport 77 with only Meeno Peluce left conscious.
I have to say that one of the finest moments in the series came in the scene with flight controller L.Q. Jones talking Meeno Peluce down and landing the plane safely. Really well done sequence.
And it does turn out that someone important was on the plane as a passenger.
