A doctor gets a chance for revenge.
kfo94944 January 2016
Lloyd Nolan stars as Doctor Elisha Pittman that has a beautiful daughter, Susan, that is in love with a young cowhand name Jack Hoyt. Due to the doctor's wife running off with a similar cowhand, the good doctor is totally against Hoyt seeing his daughter. And on two different occasions the doctor tells Hoyt that he will kill him.

Later Hoyt gets into a bar fight and gets shot in the leg. Hoyt is then taken over to Doc Pittman's house where he tells his daughter that Hoyt's leg will have to be amputated. Susan is angered saying that she has seen him save more badly injured legs and she sets off to get another doctor. Pittman now has the manner to carry out his words or at least stop Hoyt and his daughter for having a life together.

Lloyd is excellent in this story about a doctor that can take his revenge out on a patient. And with everyone thinking the doctor wanted the cowpoke dead, it is easy to make claims that whatever the doctor does it is for hate. An entertaining episode.
