Funny but..

It is a funny episode but it makes little sense, Marie loves cooking and helping so Robert had no reason for eating baloney or going hungry.. Its say Ray earns around 50k with his house and expenses it's unrealistic to assume he's somehow well off.. It is a funny episode but Robert being a lieutenant in the NYPD living in a one bed basic flat should be better off than someone earning 50k in a big house with 3 kids 2 cars etc.. 🤔

Not very funny and doesn't make sense

Warning: Spoilers
There are a lot of plot holes in this episode. I can't believe Robert can't buy more than bologna on his salary. He's single, lives in a small apartment, but Ray who lives in a big house (which I'm sure they are paying a mortgage on) is married and supporting three kids can afford to give him $1000? They were overdrawn back when he screwed up paying the bills and Robert loaned him $3000. Robert is always eating at his parent's house, but suddenly he has no food but doesn't go eat at his parent's house. Using money to do something frivolous like going to Vegas instead of paying rent, buying food, etc., seems really out of character for Robert; he's usually more sensible. The story line doesn't make sense and isn't very funny.
