Brad tells his father Randall (John Randolph) about his upcoming marriage to Angie. His response: "rabid". Brad's sister Joyce and her daughter Hillary (Tammy Lauren) meet Angie and inform Brad that his father insists upon meeting her. He wants them to fly to Florida, along with Angie's mother Theresa. On the plane, Theresa's fear of flying intensifies, leading to some comical dialogue. She bolts off the plane before takeoff and Angie and Brad follow her. Randall comes to Philadelphia instead. Randall and Theresa seem poised to clash.
