Not exactly a "must-see" but still charming in an odd way

This is one of the strangest documentaries I have seen. At a little under 6 minutes, it's a tribute to a dog on a farm that is practically useless. The dog is afraid of sheep, sleeps practically all the time, is rather dumb and does unspeakable things to the cows (yuck). While all the film footage is shown, the dog's owner narrates in the most deadpan voice--making the whole thing funny in a dry sort of way.

So is this a great film? Well, no, not really. But, like most short films it's the chance for young directors and the crew to work in the medium and hone their craft. From this point of view and because such a dull subject STILL is oddly watchable, this film has my admiration.

It's just beautiful

This is such a beautiful little film. I was just lucky to catch it one night on TV as a 'filler' between two major programs and hit the record button. I've watched it over and over and chuckle every time. I have four dogs, all useless in their own special ways but I love them to bits. So I was able to identify with Trevor's dogs and his occasional frustration with their "work ethic". Trevor's narration is spot on - very droll, yet it obvious he has a soft spot for these dogs. Something like this tells a wonderful story in a very short time but I'd love to see more. It's rather wonderful to see creatures accepted for their own sakes and not always because of the benefit or gain they bring to humans. Where can I buy a copy?
