Brilliantly done. Hammond travels (with out crashing!?!) through the body of the fattest man in the UK. taking in every aspect of his life, from the psychological to the physiological. Fascinating to see how he has built his entire identity around being huge, making it a little scary to shift the weight. His girlfriend treats him like a son, which is a little disturbing. I don't think she's heard of the phrase killing with kindness! His best mate is fantastic and obviously deeply cares for Barry (who is the 50 stone man). However when he addresses Barry's' over eating problem, Barry acts like a vulnerable slightly spoilt child and sulks until his mate cracks a joke and tells him to keep eating the huge variety of curry dishes he is munching through.... His binge drinking was incredible: 40 pints! and then the honesty of the program shows through. Hammond comments on the fact that Barrys liver is in fantastic condition.. for now any way. Brilliant for use in school.. or for anyone who is interested in what happens inside when we over eat. kept my brain busy for days afterwards. Hammonds cheeky chap style greatly helped the info go down. fun, cheesy, but fantastically honest and informative. Please bring us the follow up soon!!!!
