  • Near the top of the mountain, one expedition member discovers a dying man, but can do nothing to help him. Later it is heard that he died.
  • Two men near the summit refuse to give up their attempt despite the fact they are running out of oxygen. They put everyone else in danger.
  • Prior to the expedition, there is news of the death of a sherpa.
  • Climber's lives are in danger during a traffic jam near the summit in -40 degree temperatures.
