Sadie is bored, she's been married to Norman for 23 years, she cooks and cleans, he watches television, both are frustrated.
It's not a rip roaring comedy, but it is a good watch, a snapshot of true suburbia. The pair have reached a stage where life has become dull, and lacks any optimism, the trouble is they're in it together.
Look out for a fun turn from Lesley Joseph, as the obstinate cashier.
I've yet to find anyone that remembers it.
Watch it for the excellence of Hepton and Leach. 7/10
