  Piggy : This is no laughing matter, Fozzie.

  Fozzie : I-It just... slipped out.

• Rowlf : Wait a minute. Are you guys sure Nanny's dinner is really that horrible?

  Kermit : Uh-huh. It's worse.

  Skeeter : It's probably good for us.

  Rowlf : Yeah. Whenever something looks awful, smells disgusting, and tastes like boiled dirt, grown-ups say it's good for you.

• Kermit : Gonzo, what are you doing?

  Gonzo : Let's face it, men. We gotta get rid of that stuff.

  [gives everyone coats] 

  Gonzo : Here, put these on.

  Kids : Huh?

  Scooter : Gonzo, what's this stuff for?

  Gonzo : A dangerous mission requires proper equipment, Scooter. Now suit up and follow me.

  [heads to the door] 

  Gonzo : Okay, men, let's go!

  Piggy : Stop calling us men, Gonzo. Skeeter and moi are ladies.

• [while walking through the hallway, looking for Nanny's new recipe] 

  Fozzie : Hey, how do we know where we're going?

  Gonzo : Just follow the smell.

• [the kids imagine themselves as poor kids in the Oliver! film] 

  Scooter : [after getting his gruel]  Ew!

  Skeeter : [after getting her gruel]  Gross!

  Animal : [after getting his gruel]  Yucky.

  Fozzie : I'll have a tuna sandwich and a glass of milk, please.

  [gets served gruel] 

  Fozzie : [dissatisfied]  Wha? Thanks.

  Kermit : [gulps as he is getting served his gruel]  Thank you.

  Rowlf : [sniffs his gruel after it is served]  Man, this smells worse than yesterday.

  Piggy : [after getting her gruel]  I hate this stuff.

  Mr. Bumble : WHAT?

  Piggy : Um, I said, "My plate feels rough."

  Gonzo : [after getting his gruel]  Hey, kinda skimpy, isn't it? How about some more?

  Mr. Bumble : MORE?

  Gonzo : Okay, okay! Boy, what a grouch.

• [while watching the other kids eat their gruel] 

  Piggy : Yuck-o! Blech! Ptu! How can they eat this stuff?

  Rowlf : Gee, Piggy, maybe if you pretend it's something you like, it won't taste so bad.

  [Rowlf pretends his food is a bowl of dog biscuits and eats it] 

  Piggy : Okay. I'll pretend mine is a chocolate sundae.

  [Piggy's gruel turns into a chocolate sundae] 

  Piggy : Woo-wee! It worked!

  Kermit : Hey, neat! I'll pretend mine is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

  [Kermit's food turns into a peanut butter and jelly sandwich] 

  Gonzo : Wow! I'll have bologna and marshmallows on rye with pickles.

  [Gonzo's food becomes a sandwich with bologna, marshmallows, and pickles] 

  Scooter : Hey, this is great! I want a bucket of ice cream!

  Nanny : Hi, kids.

  [the fantasy ends as Nanny enters the nursery with a bucket] 

  Kids : Hi, Nanny.

  Skeeter : [smells the inside of Nanny's bucket]  Phew! What's in the bucket, Nanny?

  Scooter : Yeah, it doesn't smell like ice cream.

• Nanny : Okay, kids. Dinner's ready.

  Kids : Uh-oh.

  Nanny : And I have a special surprise for you.

  Gonzo : I-Is it in that bowl, Nanny?

  Nanny : Why, yes it is, Gonzo.

  Gonzo : That's what I was afraid of.

  Nanny : And as a special treat, we're going to have a picnic right here in the nursery.

  Fozzie : Gee, I wonder why we're eating in here.

  Rowlf : Are you kidding? Probably won't be able to walk after we eat this crud.

  Fozzie : Oh.

  Scooter : Well, at least we don't have to worry about picnic ants.

  Skeeter : Yeah. No way any bugs will touch that stuff.
