I have seen many of Vasantha Obeysekarra's films. They all have been good but never exceptional. The film starts at the story midway then start from the beginning. You have to closely follow to understand the film fully as some important points are skimmed through. Strangely there is no sex scenes for the two occasions the main female character gets pregnant but there is a random nude shot at a brothel (which is not required). Some scenes were unnecessarily long and some scenes were too short to understand the situation. Though this film had been heavily admired, I would rate it as a good film. Swarnahs acting is mediocre. Acting of all others are quite good.
