Totally stupid...and totally funny

Warning: Spoilers
I really liked this film because from start to finish it was totally stupid and made no pretense about this. The writers and director created a very dumb murder mystery and because of the way it was played out, it made me laugh many times.

The film begins with the murder of the professor. When a Scotland Yard investigator begins looking for clues, Martin proclaims that he did it! Heck, he's also covered in blood and is holding the knife he used to kill the poor guy. In addition, Martin later shows a videotape of his committing the crime. And yet, despite all this, this totally absurd film is like an old Agatha Cristie novel where the investigator brings all the potential killers into a room and begins grilling them...all the while Martin keeps telling everyone that he killed the guy!! And, as a result of this insane investigation, Martin then starts killing off the other suspects...and yet the investigator STILL has no idea who the real killer is!!! There's more to the film than this--including a nice twist ending.

While I'll admit that the acting is a lot like a Second City performance and is not especially believable, this isn't the point. The film is supposed to be cheesy and make no sense--so worrying that a Scottish guy doesn't have a very good accent is irrelevant. Just sit back and enjoy this dopey but amazingly funny little short film--you'll be glad you did!!
